  1.  ²Ok, that's great, but which cruncher is ³better?¹

  3.  I decided to try both programmes out.  I used two programmes, one large 
  4.  executable file (Dpaint 4),  and one smaller executable file (DirWork).
  5.  I compared the time it took to crunch each file, which crunched better,
  6.  and the time it took to decrunch the programme from RAM when executed.

  8.  The system they were tested on:

  11.  ³68000 CPU, no coprocessor¹  / ---  A standard machine except for Hard Drive
